The Detested Womanly Condition Named Cellulite
Cellulite has become one of the most hated female conditions in recent years especially amongst those who are generally slim; the thighs and buttocks might be the main areas that experience this but it can actually be found anywhere. It would be unfair to say this is a condition exclusive to overweight women because that couldn’t be further from the truth; this condition even affects slim women who have fewer fat cells.
You see as the collection of fats push against the connective tissue, it tends to cause the surface of the skin to dimple or pucker and visually look lumpy; giving you what is referred to as cellulite. In reality, nobody knows the real reason why some people accumulate these fats and not others, but there are some factors that health experts are considering such as the structure of the fat cells or toxins that enter the body.
What is certain though is that the older you become the greater the likelihood of this type of cell forming as the elastin and collagen, that help stop aging lines, becomes less effective. It is classified as a hormonal imbalance experienced by women and seldom appears on males as normally fat stored in the thighs and buttock is the same as fat stored all over the body so no difference is observed.
Even females who do not seem to have cellulite may have them and every now and then; this is noticeable when the skin is packed together as in the case of squatting or when it is strained between the thumb and forefinger; nevertheless as most women suffer from orange peel as it is called at some stage it seems to be a completely common condition. After a great deal of research, certain conditions do help with the formation and retention of the fat cells; the age of the person, their gender, how thick their skin is and the amount of extra fat they carry, all play a part.
Currently there isn’t one single treatment that can rid a person of this condition because the cause has remained elusive despite considerable research into the area. Where cellulite removal massage is offered at a clinic, all that is done is deep tissue massage which just masks the affect so it cannot be seen as readily.
Liposuction has now started to be used to try and remove the fat cells and even by injecting drugs directly into the affected sacks directly. The problem with liposuction is not really the correct therapy for removing this type of fat but is for deeper fats, not those stuck in connective tissue, so it cannot claim to be a best treatment for cellulite.
For people who are prone to the problem, there are no magic treatments for selective removal but there are now a number of creams on the market which are designed to help hide the effect it brings. The most successful regimes so far are to adopt regular cellulite exercise regimen, a good nutritious low-fat diet plan and reduce extra weight where possible.
Many toxins that accumulate in the body can be flushed out with regular amounts of water which some believe is still an effective way to keep the body free of harmful substances including the toxins which help with the formation of cellulite.
