Ovarian cysts are are mainly due to an imbalance of hormones. I don’t mean Menopause but an imbalance of hormones due to many life-style factors. Ovarian Cysts are a very common occurrence. These cysts are more common during child bearing years. But ovarian cysts can become cancerous especially after menopause.

If you have experienced any of these symptoms, then might have ovarian cysts. Ovarian Cyst Symptoms and signs are:

  • pressure, swelling, or pain in the abdomen

  • dull ache in the lower back and thighs
  • problems passing urine completely
  • pain during sex
  • weight gain
  • pain during your period
  • abnormal bleeding
  • nausea or vomiting
  • breast tenderness

But of course, it is important that you understand that many woman don’t present any symptoms at all! These cysts are asymptomatic when they are small.

Is prevention possible with ovarian cysts? Contrary to what you have been told the answer is Yes! Don’t let anyone tell you it can’t be done.

Some of the life-style changes are:

  1. Avoid foods that are high in fat. Especially animal fat.

  3. Exercising at least 5 times a week.
  4. Eating Vegetables of the cabbage family such as broccoli.
  5. Fiber intake should be 25 to 35 grams per day.

With the help of life-style changes and simple natural remedies these cysts can in many cases disappear!

Amazingly, everyone who used this method got the same results:

  • Their ovarian cysts shrunk rapidly
  • The unbearable pain was gone within a few short days
  • None of them had to go through the frightening surgery that was so easy for their doctors to recommend
  • No one who followed the program ever experience a single cyst again

Now there are exceptions where this method may not help. Surgery is usually required for dermoid ovarian cysts. Also if you have any of the symptoms below you should then see a doctor because they may indicate a medical emergency:

If you have these symptoms, get help right away:

  • pain with fever and vomiting

Do I Have a Yeast Infection?

Filed under: General — tobefertile at 5:13 am on Saturday, August 1, 2009

A yeast infection, also called candidiasis, is caused by microscopic fungi or yeast which live naturally on our skin and in the large intestine. The problematic yeast is a form of candida, usually candida albicans. You may not know you have a problem until the candida yeast become so numerous that symptoms show up. Studies show that 80-90% of people in the USA have a yeast infection. The same is likely to be true of other countries.

The vaginal infection is quite common and causes itching and pain, and usually a discharge.

Men, women and children can all get yeast infections anywhere on the body. In men, it can be penile yeast infection. Yeast infection is a common form of diaper rash. A yeast infection can also manifest as a rash on the skin, anywhere on the body of men, women and children. A yeast infection of the mouth is often known as thrush and can affect the inner cheeks, tongue and throat.

Yeast infections also occur in parts of the body that are moist and warm, such as in the skin folds, under the breasts and under the arms.It can also grow under the nails.

The diagnosis of candidiasis is often missed.  This is not only unfortunate, but can occasionally be dangerous. If it isn’t treated the yeast infection can spread and become a dangerous systemic infection. The yeast infection is likely to become chronic. If the immune system is very weak a person is more likely to get a systemic yeast infection.

A yeast infection can also cause a host of less-obvious symptoms in the body.  Do you have any of the following symptoms?

  • Painful Sex or Sexual Dysfunction
  • Vaginal Odor
  • Premature Aging
  • Leaky Gut Syndrome
  • Vaginal Discharge
  • Arthritis
  • Painful Urination or Other Urinary Disorders
  • Depression or Mood Swings
  • Chronic Rashes
  • Weight Gain
  • Tiredness or Fatigue
  • Irritability
  • Joint Pain or Swelling
  • PMS
  • Feeling Run Down
  • Digestive Pain
  • Muscle Aches
  • Short Attention Span
  • Hand Pain
  • Hip and Knee Pain
  • Headaches or Migraines
  • Acne
  • Respiratory Infections
  • Impotence
  • Gas and Bloating
  • Hypoglycemia
  • Menstrual Pain
  • Skin Lesions
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Food Allergies
  • Learning and Memory Problems
  • Eczema
  • Jumpy Legs
  • Blurred Vision
  • Brain Fog
  • Oral Yeast Infection (Oral Thrush)
  • Male Yeast Infection
  • Yeast Infections in Your Toe or Fingernails

Having any of these symptoms does not mean that you definitely have a yeast infection.  They can be symptoms of many other disorders. You will also cure those problems with a holistic approach.

When you simply treat the yeast infection with medication or natural remedies you don’t get the longterm cure that’s possible. So pills and creams from the pharmacy do usually take away the obvious symptoms for a while. But the symptoms will return.

Many people also get short-term relief with natural remedies.  There are ways to actually change the environment the candida is thriving in, and be rid of yeast infections forever. If you want to cure your yeast infection completely it’s important to do the right things.  Completely getting rid of my chronic yeast has changed our lives.  Having energy, for example, is absolute bliss! And it’s fantastic not to itch and scratch any more.
