When it comes down to it, what is more important to women: spring cleaning or a healthy heart? Surprisingly enough, according to a new Leger Marketing survey, on a yearly basis, more women are likely to participate in spring cleaning than have their cholesterol levels checked. The LIPitor: Women’S InsighTs Into Cholesterol Knowledge (LIPSTICK) survey, released by the Federation of Medical Women of Canada (FMWC), reveals that many Canadian women aged 40 and over still possess little knowledge about their own risk factors for cardiovascular disease, including their personal cholesterol target levels, and appear not to be taking the time to address these risk factors. Iron deficiency can seriously hinder your work out

Do you find that you aren’t getting as much out of your gym sessions as you’d like? Maybe you started the New Year by joining a gym but find you have already fallen behind with your fitness regime.
