Diabetes in general occurs when the body doesn’t produce enough insulin. The body cells require insulin to break down glucose into energy. Without enough insulin, the body’s glucose levels begin to rise. That can lead to long-term damage to the muscles and nerves all over the body. There are usually two ways that diabetes can develop. The first is when the pancreas stops manufacturing insulin. Patients with this form have Type 1, or juvenile, diabetes. Mostly, those people with this form of diabetes develop it as a child or as young adults.<span id="more-848"></span></p>

<p>The second way diabetes form is when the cells of the body begin needing more and more insulin in order to convert glucose to energy. This condition, insulin resistance, can worsen over time. Several studies have demonstrated the presence of chemical carcinogens in surface, ground water, and municipal treated drinking water.<br /> However, often overlooked are the beneficial properties in drinking water that can help protect us from cancer – namely total dissolved solids (TDS), hardness, and pH.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" href="http://carbonatedseltzerwater.com/">Drinking water</a>with higher amounts of TDS and hardness results in lower heart disease and cancer mortality rates.</p>
<p>Fluoridation is a highly emotional and controversial issue in which it is difficult to separate fact from fiction. The bottom line: Is it effective? Is it safe?</p>
<p>Fluoride toxicity has been linked to genetic damage in plants and animals, birth defects in humans, plus a series of allergic reactions ranging from fatigue, headaches, urinary tract irritations, diarrhea and many other problems.</p>
