Common warts are just that, fairly common. Many people get them, and they appear without any reason. Warts can appear on young people, older people and anyone in between. Common Warts are caused by the HPV virus, also known as the Human Papilloma Virus. There are many other types of warts that may be found on various parts of the body. A common wart is usually found on the hands. You may notice that it is close to one of your fingernails, especially on areas that may be dry or cracked. Because of their shape, some of these warts can often times get caught on your clothing or even gloves when you are trying to put them on.

Also, if the holistic approach is what you desire, then there are also essential oils that have been known to do the trick. These types of treatments, however, will not work for genital warts caused by the HPV virus. If you find that your home remedies are not working well for your common types of warts, or you simply want to cut to the chase, then visit your doctor to have the wart frozen off, burned off with a laser or even cut off through a minor surgical procedure.
