Massage is a great way to relax, ease tension, and promote a healthy immune system. Massage is no longer just a way to give your body a treat. It has become mainline and fully acceptable in the modern world. Massage has been used for centuries as is noted in early writings and paintings found on old walls. It was often the only method used in treating certain illnesses. As technology advanced, massages begin to take a backseat to modern medicine and prescribed drugs. Many people search for alternative treatments for back pain. They tire of the exercise requirements and don’t want to take anti-inflammatories or over the counter pain relievers any more. One treatment option is visiting a chiropractor. They are health care providers who use a different method to try to relive the pain. When you would go to them is one of the key decisions. Since we know that most back pain will disappear in matter of a few weeks with little or no treatment and that using pain relievers and doing some light exercise could speed hat up. (1) Eczema is caused by emotional factors.
(2) Eczema is contagious and can easily be passed from person to person.

What exactly is eczema?
Eczema (sometimes referred to as dermatitis) is a skin condition that can affect both males and females and sufferers can range from the very young to the elderly. Approximately one fifth of all children suffer from eczema as well as one in every twelve adults. Eczema can be mild, moderate or severe. In the mildest case the skin is red, warm, dry and itchy. In moderate to severe cases it can be very inflamed, incredibly itchy, cracked, crusty, scaly, raw, bleeding and weeping fluid (known as wet eczema). (more…)

Cystic Fibrosis After The Diagnosis

It is devastating to a parent when their child is diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. They may feel guilt because this disease is an inherited medical condition. A parent may not know they are a CF gene carrier. If both parents are carriers there is a 25 percent chance one of their children will be born with cystic fibrosis. There is a 50 percent chance one or more of their children will be carriers, and a 25 percent chance the child will not be diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. (more…)

Reflexology, or zone therapy, is a complementary therapy, intended for use alongside conventional medical care and not as a replacement. It is the practice of stimulating nerves on the feet, hands and ears, in order to encourage a beneficial effect on some other parts of the body, or to try to improve general health.
